Please carefully review the following Terms of Service before agreeing to dog waste removal services from Scoopity.
TERMS OF SERVICE
Scoopity is a business that operates independently and is solely owned by us (“us,” “we” or “our”). Our services primarily include the removal of pet waste for residential, commercial, and business properties. By engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”), which regulate the sale and delivery of our Services. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and us.
Please note that we rely on various factors such as weather conditions, the height of the grass, and accessibility to your yard, which are solely your responsibility, and other unknown external factors that may affect our ability to provide our Services.
DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
Scoopity provides a range of pet waste removal services for both residential and commercial clients, including One Time Clean, Weekly Cleaning, Every Other Week Cleaning, and Seasonal Cleaning. Our pricing is based on an area size equivalent to 1/8th of an acre. Additional charges may apply for larger areas.
ACCESSING YOUR YARD
Please note that if Scoopity is unable to access the designated area for cleaning due to locked, blocked, or frozen gates, or the presence of dogs in the yard, we will be unable to provide the service, and charges will still apply. To avoid this situation, we recommend that you provide us with gate combinations or lock keys in advance. If you request a return visit, a $5 driving fee will be added to your bill.
WEATHER
At Scoopity, we are committed to providing our services through various weather conditions, such as rain and cold, as long as it is safe to do so. However, we are unable to work during severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme temperatures, flooding, or when there is an accumulation of snow. We prioritize the safety of our team and clients above all else.
Please note that Scoopity operates on a MONTHLY subscription service and does not offer refunds for missed weeks due to weather conditions. In such cases, we will skip the service for that week and resume the following week as per the scheduled service. We cannot issue a refund as we still need to pick up all the waste that would have been scooped during the missed week. If you require the area to be cleaned before your next scheduled service, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee it. Furthermore, we take care not to damage your yard in any way. If the ground is muddy, we may skip the service and wait until the next scheduled visit when conditions have improved.
HOLIDAYS
Scoopity’s services are unavailable on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. If your scheduled pick-up day falls on any of these holidays, we will postpone the service for the entire week and resume it the following week. Please note that missed pick-ups are non-refundable, as we still need to collect all accumulated waste from the previous week.
BILLING
Scoopity employs a pre-billing system on a monthly basis for our services. On the 1st of each month, your account will be charged for the upcoming month’s service. In the event that your payment method is declined, we will immediately discontinue service until the issue has been resolved. In the case that it has been more than 30 days since your last clean-up, a first-time clean-up fee will be applied.
We allow for pausing of service for up to 30 days only. If service has not resumed after the 30-day period, your account will be removed from the schedule. One-Time Cleanings are billed once the service has been completed, and payment is expected within 24 hours of completion. If payment is more than 30 days overdue, we reserve the right to refer your account to collections.
CONDITION OF PROPERTY
At Scoopity, we value the importance of maintaining a clean and organized yard, even when it comes to dealing with leaves, debris, and tall grass. While we strive to ensure a thorough cleaning during each visit, we understand that locating dog waste in cluttered areas or overgrown grass can be challenging. Rest assured, if we miss any waste due to overgrown grass, we will make sure to clean it up during our next scheduled visit, provided that the yard maintenance is complete. If you notice a significant amount of missed waste, please contact us promptly at russell@scoopity.com.
Please be advised that certain services may incur additional fees, including cleaning and sanitizing dog waste from decks, patios, or sidewalks ($5/visit), a Come Back request ($5/time), cleaning rocks or pebbled areas ($3/visit), or waiting time ($5/visit) if we have to wait to perform our cleaning.
We respect your privacy and only collect personal information from you, such as your name, email address, phone number, and physical address, which you voluntarily provide to us. We may also collect general information about your property, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior to provide our services. We use this personal information solely for our business purposes and never sell or disclose it to third parties unless required by law or necessary to provide you with our services.
Please note that we reserve the right to update our terms and conditions without prior notice, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. If you have any concerns about the information on our site, please contact us at russell@scoopity.com.
Finally, please note that we may shut down operations entirely between Christmas and New Year’s Day. In such cases, you will be billed at your regular monthly rate unless you fully clean your yard during our shutdown. Also, late payment fees of $10 will be added to each bill that is late, and payment is due on the 1st of each month, becoming late on the 3rd of each month.
